Adult Social:

Goffstown Parks & Recreation and The Goffstown Public Library come together on the first Friday of every month to sponsor an Adult 55+ Social event. Activities and talks are offered in a wide and interesting range of topics. This is free of charge and open to all 55 and older, so please come and be social with us the first Friday of every month! Monthly topics will be posted on Facebook, so keep an eye out for this month’s topic!

Archery: Ages 7-Adult:

Dana White will be the instructor for our Archery class; Dana is a Level III Certified Instructor with the National Archery Association and has been teaching archery to all ages for over 30 years.  Classes will combine the basic skills of Archery combined with all aspects of safety and fun to make each lesson interesting.  Archery helps build attention skills, focus, respect, responsibility, self-esteem and much more.  Contact Dana White at 396-7979 for registration and current session information.

Bone Builders:

Strengthening Seniors one class at a time: Bone Builders is a strength training and balance exercise program to prevent and reverse osteoporosis. This class helps build bone density & improves balance, weights will be provided. This program is free and all are encouraged to attend. Bone Builders is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 9th and will take place on Mondays & Wednesdays 10 am at the Parks & Recreation Building.

Fee: FREE                                 Registration: Drop-In (Medical release from physician required before beginning)


Ladies Line Dancing:

Beginner line dancing instruction for women set to Christian or pop and country music. A great way to exercise the mind and body. No experience necessary. Daytime and evening classes are available. Mondays 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Thursdays 1 pm to 2 pm, and Classes take place at the Goffstown Parks and Rec Building. For more information, contact Mary Seekell: (603)-858-5420.

No Excuses LLC:

For a session of 4 weeks instructor, Christine Brown challenges participants with a new full body workout every week. In addition to that, the class offers meal plan support and online accountability. It is held on Monday nights at the Parks and Recreation building. This class is for people who like to work hard, support each other, and most importantly have FUN!

TaeKwonDo:

Build your inner strength and confidence through the powerful philosophy and Korean art of self-defense, TaeKwonDo! Train with Master Andrew Jefferson of Bulsajo TaeKwonDo. A fifth-degree black belt with over 25 years’ experience in the martial arts. It's more than just kicking and punching! Exercise your body and lose weight while gaining flexibility! Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance:

Using adapted movements from Tai Chi, you can improve your strength, endurance, coordination, and balance in this gentle but progressive, 24-week program. Open to any adults with balance concerns. Zumba:

Join Diane Henriques every Wednesday & Friday at 6 pm for a Zumba Fitness class that will bring Latin and international rhythms from around the world. Diane strives to challenge her students to increase their physical and mental potential, and to build greater confidence in their abilities.  Diane is honored to teach Zumba every Wednesday and Friday, her passion for music can be felt on the dance floor.  She's easy to follow but shows you how to dance with power.
