Summer Playground Program 2020

Summer Playground Camps Canceled

After careful consideration, the Town has made the difficult decision to cancel the Parks & Recreation Summer Playground Summer Camps this year. The health and safety of the children, our staff and our community are the top priority (click here to view the full update).

The summer playground program is a fun filled 8-week program offered every summer, for Goffstown residents ages 7 to 13. Arts and crafts, outdoor games, quiet games, and various different activities are offered daily. In addition, participants will swim every day. Weekly special events will include things such as tie-dye day, summer survivor challenge, pickleball tournaments, dodgeball tournaments, and candy bar Olympics. Weekly special events will take place on Fridays with both parks coming together at Barnard Park. This program is offered Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4pm. Participants may register week by week for the sessions they choose. The Summer Playground Program is scheduled to start the end of June and run for 8 weeks. These dates are subject to change as the school calendar changes. Scholarships are available, contact program supervisor for more information.
