The Department of Public Works announces paving of the DPW Water Main Extension along Elm St. into the Transfer Station driveway starting Wednesday, August 14th. The contractor, J.P. Cardillo & Son, Inc. will keep the road open with alternating one-way traffic for vehicles needing access within the work zone when possible. The service connection trench paving requires paving across the entire road, no vehicular or bicycle traffic will be permitted. A detour is being set up via Paige Hill Road and Locust Hill Road. Long delays should be expected 6:30am - 5:00pm, Wednesday – Friday. Thru traffic is encouraged to seek alternate routes as the detour will be enforced.
