NEWS RELEASE - TRAFFIC ALERT DPW WATER MAIN EXTENSION
GOFFSTOWN – Construction of the DPW Water Main Extension along Elm St. will resume Monday, July 1st. Elm Street will be closed from the transfer station driveway to Locust Hill Road for service installations. The service connections require trenching across the entire road, no vehicular or bicycle traffic will be permitted. A detour is being set up via Paige Hill Road and Locust Hill Road. Long delays should be expected 6:30am - 4:30pm, Monday – Tuesday. Thru traffic is encouraged to seek alternate routes as the detour will be enforced.
