GOFFSTOWN ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday November 10, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. In accordance with the Governor’s Emergency Order #12, Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, the Zoning Board of Adjustment will utilize the emergency meeting provisions of RSA 91-A to conduct meetings through electronic means while preserving, to the extent feasible, the public's right to notice of such meetings and ability to observe and listen contemporaneously. On the evening of the meeting, you can listen contemporaneously on the telephone by calling: (603) 766-JOIN (5646). Once you call in you will need to enter the Participation Code: 785645#. William & Donna Sherman and Brittany & Marc Ainslie, Applicants/Owners are seeking a Variance to expand an existing permitted Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) located on the second floor of the existing attached garage by converting an additional 812 sq. ft. of Gross Floor Area on the first floor of the garage, exceeding the 800 sq. ft. Gross Floor Area allowed for an ADU.  The first floor of the existing attached garage would be converted into a kitchen and living room, with the second floor housing a full bath and one bedroom, totaling approximately 1,624 sq. ft. Tighe & Bond, Applicants and PSNH dba Eversource Energy, Easement Holder, are seeking a Special Exception to install a 5 MVA pad-mounted step transformer to replace existing parallel step transformer on the 371X1 circuit located at Pattee Hill.  This concerns Section 3.11, Table H, Use #9 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The property is located at 134 Pattee Hill Road, (Map 7, Lot, 103), Zoned:  Agricultural.

Henry Giasson, III, Applicant/Owner is seeking a Variance to build a 24’ X 36’ detached garage 17 ft. from the side property line whereas 25 ft. is required per Section 4.3, Table of Dimensional Regulations of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The property is located at 20 Amoskeag Drive, (Map 9, Lot 13-12-4), Zoned:  Agricultural

Joseph Morrill, III, Applicant/Owner and Marc & JoAnne Gamache, Simeon & Zivile Symeonidis, Chaput Irrevocable Trust, Owners are seeking a Variance to allow disturbances within the “inner 50 ft.” of the 100 ft. Wetland and Surface Water Conservation District (WSWC).  The applicant is requesting to legitimize drainage work already completed within the “inner 50 ft.” of the WSWC District without approvals and to request installation of additional drainage structures within the “inner 50 ft.” of the WSWC District to allow for the treatment of runoff from the roadway through the properties and into Glen Lake.  This concerns Sections 13.3.5 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The properties are located at 178 Elm Street, (Map 36, Lot 79), 180 Elm Street, (Map 36, Lot 78), and Elm Street, (Map 36, Lot A-OS), Zoned: Residential-1 & Wetland and Surface Water Conservation (WSWC) District Overlay.

Hemily Investments, LLC, Owners/Applicants are seeking two Variance Request.  The first request is to allow a proposed Multi-family use in the Commercial Industrial Flex Zone.  The second request is to permit the proposed 30-unit Condominium Development that will have four buildings with less than the ½ the building length to the side setbacks.  This concerns Section 3.11(A)(3) and Section 4.4.1.3 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The properties are located at 134 Mast Road, (Map 5, Lots 54 & 54-1), Zoned:  Commercial Industrial Flex Zone (CIFZ)
