GOFFSTOWN ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday August 4, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. In accordance with the Governor’s Emergency Order #12, Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, the Zoning Board of Adjustment will utilize the emergency meeting provisions of RSA 91-A to conduct meetings through electronic means while preserving, to the extent feasible, the public's right to notice of such meetings and ability to observe and listen contemporaneously. On the evening of the meeting, you can listen contemporaneously on the telephone by calling: (603) 766-JOIN (5646). Once you call in you will need to enter the Participation Code: 785645#. Public Hearings:

David Skersey, Applicant/Owner is seeking Variances to construct an 8’ x 12’ addition for a mechanical room within approximately 14 ft. from the side property line, whereas 25 ft. is required, and to construct a porch/deck within approximately 32 ft. from the front property line, whereas 35 ft. is required.  This concerns Section 4.3, Table of Dimensional Regulations, of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The property is located at 39 Incline Avenue, a Class VI Roadway (Map 42, Lot 13), Zoned:  Agricultural  (pursuant to RSA 674:41, the applicant also requires Select Board approval for issuance of a building permit on a Class VI Roadway)

Jason & Aspasia Cote, Applicants/Owners, are seeking a Variance and a Special Exception to add an accessory dwelling unit to the second floor of the detached garage.  The Variance is required as the accessory dwelling unit will not be attached to or within the main residence.  An accessory dwelling unit is permitted with a Special Exception per This concerns Section 5.2 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The property is located at 18 Merrill Road, (Map 4, Lot 8), Zoned:  Residential-1 and Conservation Open Space Districts
