GOFFSTOWN PLANNING BOARD MEETING

In accordance with the Governor’s Emergency Order #12, Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, the Planning Board will utilize the emergency meeting provisions of RSA 91-A to conduct meetings through electronic means while preserving, to the extent feasible, the public's right to notice of such meetings and ability to observe and listen contemporaneously.   OLD BUSINESS:

Map 6 Lot 43, Conditional Use Permits/Site Plan Review Application of Goffstown Green Thumb Landscaping, Applicant, and Theresa Mahoney & Jay Baron, Owners, for a proposal to convert a single family home into a landscape nursery with retail, shop (Garden Center).  A Conditional Use Permit is required per Section 7.4.3 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance, as the lot does not meet the frontage requirement that allows for a second driveway access.  The property is located at 278 Mast Road, Zoned: (CIFZ) Commercial Industrial Flex Zone (Continued from the May 28, 2020 Meeting.  Requesting to be continued to July 9, 2020.)

NEW BUSINESS:

Map 5 Lot 49-1, Completeness Review/Subdivision Review Hearing for a proposal to subdivision the property into two (2) lots. The property is located on Mast Road and NH Route 114.  The applicant is EZ Express Car Wash, and the property is owned by Verres Financial Corporation, Zoned: (CIFZ) Commercial Industrial Flex Zone (Continued from the May 28, 2020 Meeting.  Requesting to be continued to June 25, 2020.)

Map 37, Lot 13, Completeness Review/Subdivision Review Hearing for a proposed two-lot subdivision, creating only one new lot.  The property is owned by Nicholas Key, located at 70 North Mast Street, Zoned:  Residential Small Business Office District-1 (RSBOD-1) (Continued from the May 28, 2020 Meeting.)

Map 3, Lot 41-1, Completeness Review/Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit Hearing for a proposal to add eighteen (18) modular housing units on the St. Anselm College Campus.  The units are 12 ft. to 14 ft. wide and 60 ft. long.  They will house four students in each and there is no proposed increase in student population on campus.  This request is for temporary use of this modular housing for a period of 1-2 years.  These housing units are proposed for the purpose of maintaining social distancing guidelines among residential students during the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.  A Conditional Use Permit is required per Section 3.1 of the Table of Principal Uses (B. Educational and Institutional) of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance, for a temporary expansion of use in the Residential-2 Zone.  The property owner is Saint Anselm Abbey (St. Anselm College), and located at 100 St. Anselm’s Drive, Zoned: Residential-2  (Application withdrawn by applicant.)
