The Conservation Commission addresses a wide range of issues for the town and residents, providing support and recommendations to the town Planning Board on subdivision and site plan applications. It conducts site inspections, reviews wetland activity requests submitted to the NH Department of Environmental Services and other agencies, and oversees a variety of town improvement projects.
The Commission normally meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in the Mildred Stark room in downstairs Goffstown Town Hall.
All commission meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Your input is important!

The Historic District Commission's Historic Marker Program is working towards the goal of installing historic markers at more than 60 significant locations around Town over the next several years. The purpose of the Historic Marker Program is to educate the public about the many historical people, places, and events in Goffstown's past by emphasizing the presence of history all around us. The Program offers visitors and residents alike a glimpse into the Town's unique heritage.
In Spring 2012 the first six markers were installed throughout Town and the HDC is planning to install additional markers in 2013.
This area will be used to post historic surveys.
