There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday December 05, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mildred Stark Room (Room 106) in the Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH 03045 for the following applications:

Public Hearings:

John J. Beliveau, Owner/Applicant, is seeking a Variance to build an accessory building/garage on a vacant lot that is located within the 100-year Floodplain. This concerns Section 13.2.5 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. A previous Variance was granted to allow the accessory structure to be built but another Variance is required to allow the structure to be located within the 100-year Floodplain. David & Rachel Landry, Owners/Applicants are appealing an Administrative Decision that a commercial tractor and trailer (a.k.a. “tractor trailer”) is prohibited on their residential property. Alternatively, they seek a Variance to allow a commercial tractor and trailer (a.k.a. “tractor trailer”) to remain on residential property whereas the vehicle is not permitted per Section 7.9 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. Harold & Karen Carver Owners/Applicants are seeking a Variance and a Special Exception to create an accessory dwelling unit on the property (two existing apartments will be eliminated). An accessory dwelling unit is allowed by Special Exception per Section 15.3.2 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. A Variance is required as the property does not meet the minimum lot size requirements per Section 4.3 (Table of Dimensional Regulations) and Section 5.2.8 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. Gable Trust of 2013, Owners/Applicants are seeking a Variance to subdivide the property into two (2) lots, proposing one lot with the existing house to have an area of 0.741 acres, and the new building lot to have an area of 0.748 acres. The lots are required to have an area of 1.00 acres where municipal water and onsite septic are provided.
