2018 Zoning Amendments Public Hearing

Goffstown Planning Board

The Goffstown Planning Board will hold its first public hearing on its proposed 2018 zoning amendments in the Mildred Stark Room (Room 106) of the Goffstown Town Hall, located on 16 Main Street, Goffstown, New Hampshire on Thursday, December 07, 2017. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. Explanations of the proposed amendments are as follows and full-text copies may be obtained from the Town’s Website, the Planning Department, and the Town Clerk’s Office, located on 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH during the hours of 8 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday. Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 1, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending the Glossary by adding a definition for Buffer.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 2, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending the Glossary by eliminating reference to Code Enforcement Officer and replacing it with Zoning Code Enforcement Officer.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 3, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending the Glossary by adding additional language to the definition for “Junk”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 4, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending the Glossary by eliminating reference to Planning and Zoning Administrator and replacing it with Zoning Code Enforcement Officer.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 5, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by adding a definition for Sign, Electronic Message Center.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 6, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by adding a definition for Sign, Environmentally Activated.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 7, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by adding a definition for Warehouse.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 8, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 3.11. Table of Principal Uses, H. Transportation, Communication, Utilities, 12. Self Service Storage Facilities, by removing the word “Service”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 9, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 5.1. Accessory Buildings and Facilities by adding the word, “Structure” and removing the word, “Facilities”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 10, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 5.11. Accessory Building Setbacks by changing any reference to “Buildings” to the word “Structures”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 11, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 5.24. by eliminating the word, “Service” in Self Service Storage Facilities.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 12, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 6.3.4. by adding a sentence stating, “Directional Signs may include a business logo”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 13, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 7.2. Off Street Parking Requirements, 7.2.2., by changing Planning and Zoning Administrator to Planning and Economic Development Director.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 14, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 7.6. Off-Street Loading Requirements, 7.6.1., by changing Planning and Zoning Administrator to Planning and Economic Development Director.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 15, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 10.3. Application and Review Process, 10.3.1., by changing Planning and Zoning Administrator to Planning and Economic Development Director.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 16, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 14.6.3., by eliminating, “as though it were a new use”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 17, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by amending 14.9.1. Repairs and Maintenance, by adding, “This does not apply to in-kind replacements of decks, porches, steps, and chimneys”.

Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 18, as proposed by the Goffstown Planning Board, amending the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance by replacing any reference to Code Enforcement Officer in Sections 2.5.4., 3.3., 3.3.1., 6.2., 14.6.1., 14.7.1, 15.1., 15.3.7.3., 15.7., 15.8 and replacing it with Zoning Code Enforcement Officer.
