GOFFSTOWN ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday May 2, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mildred Stark Room (Room 106) in the Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH 03045 for the following applications:

Public Hearings:

 

Doris W. Vail, Owner & Charleen Salazar, Applicant, are seeking a Special Exception to build a single family home on a lot that has 1.10 acres whereas 2 acres is required. This concerns Section 14.7.3 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. The property is located on Leslie Drive (Map 6, Lot 59-F), Zoned: Agricultural.

Joseph Morrill III, Applicant/Owner, is seeking an Equitable Waiver and a Variance to rebuild stairs and a 6’ x 4’ deck that encroach within the side setback. This concerns Section 4.3 (Table of Dimensional Regulations) of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at 178 Elm Street, (Map 36, Lot 79) in the Residential-1 District.

Thomas Schunneman & Ryan Carr, Applicants, & SLG Realty, LLC, Owner, are seeking a Variance and a Special Exception to allow a Tattoo business to be located within an existing commercial building. This use is permitted by Special Exception. The Variance is required as a tattoo business cannot be located within 1,000 ft. of a school, church or a boundary of the Residential-1 or Residential-2 District, and this will not meet that specific distance requirement. Both the Variance and the Special Exception concern Section 5.4 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at 679 Mast Road, Center Pinard Plaza (Map 17, Lot 179), Zoned: Commercial

Joseph A. Latona, Applicant/Owner, is seeking a Variance to allow an accessory apartment to remain in the basement of a single family home located within the Commercial District whereas an accessory apartment is not permitted. This concerns Section 3.12 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. Also, the applicant is seeking a Special Exception pursuant to the design requirements provided under Section 3.12 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at 21 College Road (Map 17, Lot 177-1), Zoned: Commercial **The applicant/owner has withdrawn this Variance and Special Exception request.**
